Testing Rails ActionCable with Devise Discussion

Can't we just use sign_in and sign_out helpers from the Devise, instead of stubbing out Warden?

How in the world of all things RSpec would you recreate

  class FakeEnv
    attr_reader(:user)

    def initialize(user)
      @user = user
    end
  end

With RSpec's DSL?
